Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Business Development function for a Product Manager. You will be report into the Head of Delivery and be responsible for Identifying areas of new business opportunities and Independently pursue complex business development/investments efforts for DP World.

Duties include:

Defines product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Applies expertise to serve as the organisational authority on conducting research and analysing data in order to develop a comprehensive understanding of customer and market conditions that enables maximum return on investments.

Product Management

  • Drive product development, monitor all aspects of a product life cycle, including long and short-term development and marketing.
  • Perform analyses to stay abreast of trends in the marketplace to ensure the product's competitive position.
  • Own prioritisation process through empirical process and use of industry standard processes such as Business Value Scoring.
  • Responsible for managing the definition, development and delivery of a significant product or service within the product development and engineering program, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.

Customer Value Management

  • Select appropriate customers to work with from suite of current users.
  • Engage with customers to establish pain points and work with business & delivery teams to create solutions that provide value.
  • Articulate delivery benefit realisation to stakeholders.
  • Support product and customer value proposition statements and tracking Manage product marketability and commercial success.
  • Define/support the development of new product business case, improvements to existing products, and business ventures.
  • Work with Commercial Team to support presales, customer engagement, and product implementation and launch activities.
  • Own benefit realisation process and evaluate success upon delivery completion.
  • Develop targets and track KPIs, Product Metrics & software analytics and present these to senior stakeholders on a regular basis Work with internal and parallel project teams to support/manage all aspects of in-life products and responsible for continuous product development.

Requirements

About You:

  • Solid relevant product domain expertise and industrial knowledge.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen to drive product development definition and support benefit realisation and ROI.
  • Strong business insight to apply expert knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organisation's goals.
  • Mature understanding and experience in end-to-end product development life-cycle, implementation, and continuous product development process.
  • Strategic thinking and planning: ability to start small after thinking big, and ability to learn fast to support product delivery.
  • Presentation, written/documentation, and Communication skills: ability to communicate vision and idea, and create opportunity to demonstrate to key stakeholders of strategic plans Influential skills: Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. A great story-teller and get buy in.
