CNS (Community Network Services) is a leading Port Community System provider and a wholly owned subsidiary of DP World, our systems enable the movement of cargo through many of the UK’s ports and airports. CNS’s customers, including many household names of the freight and logistics industry, rely 24/7 on CNS’s systems to manage their operational and customs processes. We provide the platforms that “keep the information flowing” and enable the UK to trade.

Position

To include duties such as:

• Primary contact for key external customers and stakeholders, ensuring that CNS maintains customer satisfaction, including: Port and Air Port Communities, Shipping lines, Major freight forwarders, Fast Parcel Operators & Courier companies, Statutory bodies and Government agencies and Prospective CNS customers.

• Liaising internally with IT operations and development teams, to provide business input to the development and operation of the community systems.

• Communicating business requirements to Business Analysts and CNS helpdesk and CNS service operations manager, for referral and escalation of customer issues.

• Working with Marketing and communications team, to create effective marketing communications and being an escalation point for Finance for invoice and tariff issues.

• Deliver business plan growth for CNS core products.

• Identify commercial opportunities and engage directly with key market players and project partners.

• Support the wider activity of the commercial team in delivering commercial success for the business.

Requirements

About you:

• Educated to a high standard, preferably Degree level or equivalent with ‘A’ levels.

• Experience of the shipping/logistics/transport industry and or UK customs environment would be an advantage.

• Strong track record in Commercial relationship and stakeholder management.

• Excellent presentation and analytical skillset.
