CNS is a leading Port Community System provider and a wholly owned subsidiary of DP World, our systems enable the movement of cargo through many of the UK’s ports and airports. CNS’s customers, including many household names of the freight and logistics industry, rely 24/7 on CNS’s systems to manage their operational and customs processes. Position

Develops the strategy for managing client relationships at CNS. Manages the working relationship for CNS's business partners/ clients. Sets strategies to identify new business opportunities among existing partners/clients. Proactively looks for new services or clients to increase volume of business from a portfolio of accounts and consistently provides excellent service whilst maximizing profitability.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver business plan growth for the CNS products in the cross-border road freight market.
  • Identify commercial opportunities and engage directly with key market players and project partners
  • Implement sales, marketing, and communications strategy for the project, in conjunction with MarComms resource and partners
  • Manage relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Monitor financial performance of products and identify issues and corrective measures, this includes reporting to senior stakeholders
  • Support product team in project by identifying enhancements and delivery priorities based on market feedback and aligned with key project partners
  • Support the wider activity of the commercial team in delivering commercial success for the business

Requirements

  • Educated to a high standard, with 3 good ‘A’ levels. Degree level or equivalent preferable
  • Experience of the shipping/logistics/transport industry preferable
  • Knowledge of the UK customs environment is an advantage
  • Commercial relationship and stakeholder management experience
  • Numerate with strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills

Other information

HOURS OF WORK: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)


SALARY: Competitive, depending upon experience
