Join our growing team in this brand-new role at Development Initiatives (DI). You will be a self-starter, possess excellent people skills and have a real passion for using strategic communications to drive change that can improve people’s lives.

Duties include:

• Lead the development and delivery of strategic communications for key high-profile projects and programmes with an emphasis on digital products and channels.
• Handle media enquiries and undertake press outreach as opportunities arise.
• Manage external agency relationships to support the delivery of communications campaigns as needed.
• Oversee monitoring, evaluation and impact of communications activities for key projects to ensure desired results are being achieved and learning is captured and acted upon.
• Produce research on the external landscape, key trends, partners and audiences, to ensure our work is always responding to that context and continues to add maximum value for our stakeholders.

We are seeking someone who is in their element when developing and delivering strategic communications campaigns, works exceptionally well with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve fruitful working relationships, and enjoys the challenge of translating complex research into accessible and compelling content and messages. You will be impact-oriented and understand how your role as a communications professional helps drive change.
