Position

The responsibilities of this role include developing new and existing opportunities in food ingredients and packaging for CZ Americas. You will be part of a small team based in Miami, representing CZ in front of clients, partners, competitors and service providers, communicating with other departments and geographical areas of CZ.


The company has a head office in London, 13 other global offices, including Miami, Sao Paulo, Mexico City and Medelin in the Americas, and regional representation in Guatemala and Costa Rica. The role will require regular travel throughout Latin America. Expect a dynamic work environment that will feel like you are part of a 163-year-old startup company. CZ is a well-known global service provider to numerous multi-national food and beverage companies, smaller domestic industrial consumers, and regional distributors. As part of the team, you will have responsibility for managing product flow to many of these existing customers, and developing new clients as our range of product offering and geographical coverage expands



Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Analyse import/export data in order to look for market opportunities where we can develop new commercial relationships.
  • Analyse YTD sales alongside the five-year plan to support focused and strategic growth of the FIP business.
  • Through regular meetings with management and global FIP trading teams support in identifying and linking OKRs for global alignment and strategic focus.
  • Identify, reach out to and follow up with potential clients.
  • Liaise with clients, developing relationships and delivering marketing presentations.
  • Assist with credit risk profiles and credit committee positions/limits.
  • Effectively communicate to a high professional standard with clients, partners, trader counterparties, brokers, and other service providers.
  • Regularly liaise with product leads to identify challenges and support in the development of growth strategies.
  • Develop of product knowledge in order to generate ideas for marketing and revenue growth.
  • Look for opportunities to develop corporate finance activities in conjunction with the regional teams.
  • Assist with monitoring and liaising over contract execution.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external clients in both English and Spanish.
  • Liaise with the operations team and ensure proper documentation for exporting/importing commercial goods.
  • Prepare and issue contractual documentation.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with the following skillset and attributes:


Essential:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Experience in commodities, food ingredients, logistics and/or warehousing industries
  • Understanding of international shipping terms and conditions
  • Bilingual with business level Spanish and English communications skills (written and verbal)
  • Ambition, with a hunger to learn and develop
  • Knowledge of commodity trends
  • High attention to detail
  • Self-starter
  • Good analytical skills
  • Flexible approach
  • Full team player, capable of reaching team and individual targets
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
