Position

The SysOps2 team is responsible for the monitoring and logging platform of the company's various products. It participates in the eight DevOps ∞ activities concerning the development of its product.

Mandates:

  • Provide the Product and Infrastructure teams with monitoring and alerting tools and processes to improve and optimize their various products from an operational point of view;
  • Support and maintain the 24/7 first line service of Croesus products in production;
  • Respond to alerts triggered by the monitoring systems and take the necessary actions to restore service;
  • Develop data modification or processing scripts with SQL, Bash and Perl;
  • Follow development methodologies and processes in place;
  • Document incidents, trace back to the source of the problem when necessary, and communicate the progress of investigations and problem resolution;
  • Any other related duties.

Requirements

Academic background and experience:

  • DEC or ACS in computer science or related field;

Skills:

  • Expertise in technical support, maintenance and production start-up;
  • Demonstrate initiative in finding solutions;
  • Ability to write incident reports and workarounds;
  • Bilingualism (French and English);
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and in a highly technological environment.

Required :

  • Adaptable, open to change;

  • Resourceful and good problem solver;
  • Responsible;
  • Experience in operations;
  • Experience in systems monitoring and in alerting (e.g. Grafana Cloud, DataDog, OpsGenie, etc.);
  • Experience developing operational tasks and using an orchestrator;
  • Familiar with Bash, Linux & basic SQL & Git knowledge.

  • Container (e.g. Docker)
