Croesus is looking for an intern for a 4 or 8 month development mandate in the Croesus Lab. The intern will be involved in a project of optimization, development of new functionalities and remanufacturing of one of our flagship products in the field of operational research. He will have to implement a new architecture in collaboration with the Operations Research Scientist and the Croesus Solution Architect. He will also participate in the development of innovative functionalities in financial optimization.

• Implement, validate, optimize and deploy applications and solutions in accordance with current standards;
• Analyze the feasibility of new functionalities and present proofs of concept;
• Determine the steps and processes to implement the selected solutions and evaluate the efforts;
• Work collaboratively with other members of the IT group, project managers and systems analysts and research lab teams;
• Present results with other team members to project stakeholders at the end of each sprint and regularly in team meetings;
• Document the architecture and development of the solutions;
• Participate in the improvement of methodologies and standards;
• Propose optimization and improvement solutions for the solutions and environments in place.

Academic background and experience

• Last internship at the bachelor's level or internship during the master's degree

Skills

• Bilingualism (French/working langage and English);
• Autonomy and resourcefulness;
• Relevant experience in software development (C#);
• Experience with object-oriented programming;
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, in a rigorous and stimulating environment;
• Is not afraid of complex challenges and likes to get out of his comfort zone;
• Interest and curiosity in new technologies and exploration;

Assets:

• Basic knowledge of operations research;
• Knowledge of software reengineering techniques;
• Knowledge of unit test implementation;
• Experience with Visual Studio;
• Experience with version control tools (Git);
• Experience with Jira.
