The Data Engineer is responsible for the analysis, development and delivery of solutions for the processing and presentation of Croesus data.

Your daily challenges :

• Set up and maintain programs / scripts / tools for extracting, transforming and loading data from a variety of data sources;
• Design innovative solutions for processing large data that meet customer needs;
• Develop plans and processes for implementing the selected solutions;
• Deploy and maintain environments during the life cycle of projects;
• Define, design and implement internal process improvements: automation of manual processes, optimization of data transmission;
• Propose performance test scenarios for customer environments (application and databases);
• Promote continuous improvement by proposing new solutions and technologies;
• Put in place mechanisms to improve the quality of data;
• Participate in the establishment of mechanisms for the deployment and monitoring of machine learning models;
• Assist other areas of the company with deployed solutions, data modeling and SQL queries;
• Be part of an agile team in a DevOps context and actively participate in all team ceremonies: refining, scrums, planning, retrospective and demonstrations;
• All other related tasks.

• Development experience: C #, Java or other;
• At least two (2) years of experience in data engineering;
• Mastery of scripting languages ​​such as Bash / Shell under Linux;
• Experience in relational databases (Sybase, SQL Server, Postgres);
• Experience in data processing (SQL, Python, Talend);
• Modeling of data warehouses;
• Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Qlik);
• Experience using AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, EMR, etc.);
• Experience in using data pipelines and workflow management tools (Luigi, Airflow, etc.);
• Knowledge of CI / CD principles and associated tools (Jenkins, TFS, Git, Docker, etc.);
• Rigor and thoroughness;
• Ability to solve problems;
• Bilingualism (French and English);
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
