The System and Networks Administrator is responsible for the design, configuration, administration, maintenance, and advancement of the physical and network infrastructure across diverse data centers and company headquarters, while ensuring seamless operation of the organization.

Responsibilities and collaborative tasks:

· Devise technological solutions for physical infrastructure, networking, and IT management, strategizing for their future advancement.

· Plan the advancement of technological solutions in tandem with equipment upgrades, operating system enhancements, and software updates.

· Ensure optimal functionality and heightened availability of data center infrastructures, as well as connectivity with our AWS facilities.

· Resolve complex problems requiring analytical skills and an understanding of interrelated variables.

· Design and execute solutions adhering to company security protocols.

· Thoroughly document solutions and processes within the Confluence workspace.

· Illustrate network infrastructure, flows, and resolutions through LucidCharts.

· Contribute to the enhancement of established processes and methodologies.

· Continuously enhance automation tools and processes, utilizing resources such as Ansible, VMWare, Python, Bash, and comparable tools.

· Lead the installation and configuration of physical or virtual servers within diverse hosting centers offering Croesus services.

· Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting on Linux servers and associated applications.

· Undertake the installation, replacement, removal, and analysis of equipment across our diverse facilities, including:

o Switches (Cisco and Aruba)

o Routers (Cisco and Aruba)

o Firewalls (Sophos)

o Power distribution units (PDUs)

o Uninterruptible power supplies (UPS)

o Patch panels

o Cabling

· Manage IP address ranges.

· Manage routing using the following protocols: RIP, EIGRP, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS.

· Manage network VLAN topology.

· Manage DHCP and DNS configurations.

· Manage VPN connections.

· Manage NAC configurations at Croesus offices.

· Work in a DevOps team following the Agile methodology.

· Collaborate with various contributors outside the team, including our clients.

· Participate in rotating Level 2 support (24/7) for production environments.

University or college degree in computer science or a related field.

· Approximately 10 years of experience in Linux systems and networking administration.

· Cisco IOS certification (CCNA), an asset.

· Familiarity with Microsoft systems, including Windows Server, Active Directory (IIS, WSUS, ADFS, etc.), an asset.

· Certification from an IT security system provider (Aruba or Sophos), an asset.

· Familiarity with various proxy technologies, such as HAProxy, Nginx, Proxy-Pass, etc., an asset.

· Familiarity with Google Workspace services, an asset.

Desired skills:

· Ability to design and implement technological solutions related to physical infrastructure, networking, and IT management.

· Understanding of constraints related to production environments.

· Excellent knowledge of the Linux operating system (derived from the RedHat distribution), an asset.

· Excellent understanding of networking concepts, including topologies, VLANs, dynamic routing protocols, and IP addressing.

· Knowledge of network security principles.

· Knowledge of most of the following systems:

o Virtualization VMware, Docker, and Vserver

o Ansible, Python, Jenkins, GitHub, Perl, and Bash automation

o Nagios and Grafana Cloud monitoring

· Ability to work under pressure.

· Eagerness to learn.

· Team player and ability to work in a multidisciplinary Agile team.

· Ability to document relevant information and transfer knowledge effectively.

· Excellent French and functional English.
