About the Roles

We are currently seeking mechanically-minded technicians for a Full-Time FIFO contract in the following role:

• Preservation Technician

Successful candidates will have:

• Comprehensive understanding of:
  • Mechanical and rotating such as; turbines, compressors, pumps, engines, generators, gearboxes etc
  • Electrical and Instrumentation equipment
  • Piping, Static Equipment and Valves
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to carry out thorough assessments of heavy industrial equipment
• Knowledge of VCI/VpCI or Preservation products
• Previous preservation product application experience (preferable)
• Previous experience working in fabrication yards, construction projects and maintenance facilities and/or;
• Previous experience working with preservation of stored equipment, assets, and spares within supply chain/warehouse operations
• White Card
• Current Driver's Licence
• Ability to complete pre-employment medical
• Basic to Intermediate computer skills
• Willingness to help and work remotely in a small team
• Commitment to safe work practices
