As Solutions Architect, your focus will be to drive continual improvement across the Conferma platform. You will form part of the technology governance team, acting as the technical design authority for all development initiatives, ensuring alignment of integration patterns and best practice for the company.
You will be the subject matter expert for the Conferma payments platform, defining end-to-end solutions or business offerings to meet product and customer requirements.
You will work closely with project managers, other Solutions Architects, developers and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
The Solutions Architect at Conferma is responsible for: -
· Ensure we are technically fit for purpose. Create architecture design artifacts that follow engineering and quality processes, standards, and principles, defining solutions that balance product requirements with information and security requirements.
· Carry out requirement analysis, determine pre-project feasibility and costing, as well as provide consultancy to product and business development teams.
· Working with Product Management to translate business requirements into architectural and system requirements.
· Act as project technical lead and subject matter expert, overseeing all phases of development ensuring design requirements are accurately met.
· Interact with the customers as the subject matter expert and communicate technical topics to those without a technical background.
· Proactively assess and undertake research and development activities, liaising with technology vendors and partners as required.
· Identify and recommend improvements to existing services and architectures, influencing key stakeholders where appropriate.
· Design and implement .NET-based solutions to meet business needs.
· Create architectural diagrams using C4 or similar to illustrate solution designs.
· Develop cloud-based solutions using platforms such as Azure.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure solutions align with business goals.
· Review and optimize code to ensure performance and security.
· Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
· Produce Proof of Concepts for new API integrations.
What we’re looking for: -
· Strong problem-solver with a solutions-oriented mindset; you must be able to think outside the box when challenging technical issues arise.
· Strong application development background with exposure to Microsoft .Net technologies, C#, VB and HTML5/CSS3.
· Experience with API-Centric architecture, microservices & data integration techniques
· Knowledge of security principals and experience designing secure services
· Familiarity with creating and reviewing technical documentation.

· Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Architect.
· Understanding of Agile methodologies.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
· Knowledge of REST and RPC APIs.
· Able to work well in a team setting.
· Demonstrates innovation; you must exhibit a strong work ethic, lead by example, and bring new ideas to the table.
· Ability to multi-task with strong organizational or project management skills.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Understands a sense of urgency and must be able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
· Experience working within multi-disciplined agile development teams.
· Experience with Azure DevOps.
Compensation
Base Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 DoE
Bonus available: 10%
Salary and Bonus dependent on experience and skills
