Position

The Job Details

We are looking for a Production Assistant to join the team at My Father's Dragon

The Production Assistant provides support for the Production Manager, Assistant Production Manager and Production Coordinators across different departments. They support the team of artists per the coordinator’s request. They attend meetings, taking notes, file artwork and sharing updates as requested. The production assistant is responsible for ensuring that files are properly labeled, circulated for review and approval.

As a Production Assistant you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the coordinator in facilitating work flow with in department as well as in relation to other departments

  • Helping to populate Assets and Dates into Shotgun

  • Helping Production Manager, Technical Director and Coordinators with the coordination of departments on daily and weekly basis (as needed)

  • Setting up and attending meetings and taking notes.

  • Address any problems with the Production Coordinator and Production Manager

  • Other production assistant related matters that may arise

  • Being available on Google Chat and email during working hours

  • This list in not exhaustive and might be complemented by reasonable and related tasks

Requirements

What we would like to see from you:

  • Previous experience on an animated TV series or feature preferred. Familiary with Shotgun, a plus.
  • Highly organized

  • Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Strong communicator

  • Takes self-initiative and asks questions

  • Quick learner

  • Excellent team player
