Cartoon Saloon is a four time Academy Award (R), Golden Globe (R), BAFTA and Emmy nominated animation studio based in Kilkenny in the South East of Ireland. Employing over 150 crew, we are currently working on a number of projects in production and in development.

Position

We are looking for General Production Coordinators to join the team on My Father's Dragon

The General Production Coordinator supports and facilitates all aspects of production as needed by Line Producer, Production Manager, Assistant Production Manager, and Departmental Coordinators. Main components to this role include being an excellent communicator, ability to prioritize tasks, strong time management skills, being highly organized and motivated, solid follow-through skills, and being a strong team player. Confident with managing schedules, identifying issues and flagging with the Production Manager. Competent at stepping into department with sufficient overlap and training to support coordinators ranging from support in note taking to coordinating meetings, handouts, reviews and approvals in absence of the coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting the Production Manager, Assistant PM, and Coordinators in facilitating consistent workflow through all departments starting with editorial through compositing in correlation with the master schedule and timeline.

• Support the Coordinators in the day-to-day operation of the department(s) as needed.

• Maintain close communication with PMs and Coordinators regarding their tasks and deadlines..

• When needed, check and report daily on individual artists in relation to weekly goals/quotas in assigned department

• Supporting the production team in ensuring an efficient tracking of assets in SG and producing weekly reports in SG.

• Assist Production Crew Manager in keeping the production admin documentation up to date when required.

• Providing full cover of duties for Departmental Coordinators during holidays.

Project potential possible workflow and timeline issues as related within and between departments and suggest possible solutions when applicable

• Able to focus on the micro and macro level in order to best support and facilitate the production

• Setting up Launches with Director and crew and taking notes accordingly as requested by Coordinators.

• Strong skills in following up all details in order to expedite workflow

• Set up and attend all meetings required by production.

• Be available on Google Chat and by emails during working hours.
