The Job Details:

We are looking for an Animation Supervisor to join our new TV Series

Following the Director’s vision and in alliance with visual language and character designs established for the TV Series, the Animation Supervisor role is to facilitate and oversee animation work.

As an Animation Supervisor you will be responsible for:

• Brief, supervise and review the work produced by the animation team

• Responsible for consistent quality of the animation

• Work closely with Director and Assistant Director to help translate narrative accurately to the screen

• Create animation bible / guiding documents for animation team when required

• To attend departmental kick-off meetings, reviews and director approvals as needed.

• Liaise with the production department to ensure deadlines are kept and quotas are fulfilled

• To report to the Production Manager and Line Producer as needed, communicating status of work in progress and informing them of any possible delays in the production.

• Be available on Google Chat and by emails during working hours

• This list in not exhaustive and might be complemented by reasonable and related tasks that are requested of you

• Be available to work in house in Kilkenny, Ireland

What we would like to see from you:

• The ideal candidate should have experience in a similar supervisor position. They should also have the ability to communicate ideas clearly and capable of maintaining a high level of visual quality for Animation

• Excellent knowledge of ToonBoom is required.

• Proficiency in Rigged Animation, a plus.
