POSITION

Support technician for Research and Development.

(Capsules, customer service, Product improvement)

JOB PURPOSE

Work on the investigation, development, trials, and business service for the capsule projects concerning Cocatech and UCC Europe. Including:

1. Support for the project responsible on all labour related tasks on research and development.
2. Produce samples as it is specified on the design for the development of projects, trials or potential customers.
3. Follow up of all projects: update information for developments and coordination among CCT/UCC departments.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily support and surveillance of projects. In addition, the candidate will take measurements, prepare and perform tests, answer questions on behalf of the supervising engineer. At the same time, s/he will

serve as contact for R&D within all the company departments. Developing project schedules and project timelines under the supervision of more experienced engineers, are among other duties to be carried out.

• Produce reports, written analyses or summaries by the guidance of the Project Managers. According to, and following the Project development, the candidate will have to test, compare results with goals, summarize and state the information and results. All these assignments will be shared among the R&D department staff, factory departments, customers or suppliers for feedback purposes.

Moreover, the candidate should compare project schedules, budget with goals and expectations, reporting potential delays or issues.

• Provide direct or indirect support to Project Managers or engineering teams. It may include: gathering information, complete application forms, submit documentation, follow directions and guide the factory personnel.
• Coordination of concerning members for the project. Likewise, the candidate will share the projects’ milestones and agendas under the guide of the Project Manager. Furthermore, s/he may work closely with all involved personnel, supervising the tasks or performing directly.

• Problem-solving skills: assess technical solutions for a wide range of issues that may come up during the development of projects.
• Analysis skills: capacity to perform tests to interpret the development and apply solutions or improvements.Capability to produce accurate studies regarding the projects under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Excellent time and process management on a multitasking environment.
• Good relationship and teamwork within different departments.
• Medium/Basic English level.
