Position

Purpose: Its role is to lead the Supply Chain department


Key Accountabilities:

• UCCS SC team management to guarantee department’s functions:

o Assure the service OTIF to UCCS customers.

o Scheduling factory productions based on sales forecast, while fulfilling the factory conditions and optimal production batches

o Optimize the inventory levels and warehousing expenses.

o Ensures UCCS factory’s material supply (packaging and green coffee) from preferred vendors, managing the supply of the goods to get the

best price while balancing to achieve inventory goals.

o Drive continuous improvement and efficiency in Demand Planning, Warehousing & Logistics on UCCS

• Drive S&OP category for Spain

• Lead Customer Service department activities

• Ensure UCCS SC availability to achieve new potential commercial markets.

• Organize UCCS’ SC team, define roles, responsibilities, and procedures.


Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the SCM and CS team in UCCS

• Supports Head of Supply in Spain in European projects through local activities

• Ensures European strategy is implemented at local level, with special focus on S&OP

• Collaboration with other OpCos’ SC Managers and I/C business management

• Analysing and tracking KPIs, providing periodic report to the business regarding:

o Customers satisfaction

o Suppliers performance

o SCM costs and results

o Warehousing and inventory levels

o Production and service status

• Guarantee the service and logistic requeriments of UCCS customers

• Supervision and evaluation of UCCS vendors performance

• Ensure the correct data into the informatic system to obtain the KPIs figures

• Define and request the department needs in terms of resources and personal

• Supervise and develop best practices related with SCM

• Stablish efficient communication channels across the different business levels

• Defining and implementing improvement steps to fulfil UCCS objectives related with SC: procurement budget, working capital, service fulfilment…

• Prepare and align SC’s budget for UCCS with the financial department, track it and take the corresponding actions to meet it

• Open mind to collect and evaluate external/internal proposals and requeriments to integrate into company procedures

• Strong informatic skills on Microsoft Office and ERP (especially valuable any experience with Dynamics 365’s F&O).

• Data management for KPI definition - tracking and evaluation

• Teams leadership experience

• Quality and industrial environment experience (desirable on food industry)
