We are looking for a Category Manager for Take-Home retail channel in the Spanish coffee market
We are thinking in a Sales and market oriented professional prepared to handle the coffee category from both the consumer and the channel perspective, with autonomy, discipline, and a proactive mindset:
Research & Insights from the consumer and the channel
-Consumer insights from the data provided by Nielsen, Euromonitor, Kantar and others
-Shopper insights from store checks, national and regional
-Coffee and retail market insights gathered from the media and social media
Consumer products
-Collaborate on the new product development and continuous improvement: internally and with outsourced testing
-Support Quality & R&D on the Spanish consumer line (L900)
Sales / Trade
-Support sales follow-up, planning & forecasting
-Participate new tenders with current or potential customers
-Attend current retail customers
SKILLS
-Data research, quantitative and qualitative – insight oriented
-Empathy and strong communication/presentation capabilities
-Autonomy and discipline, balancing office, and field responsibilities
-Sales mindset, customer and consumer centric
-Ability to manage intense work on a fast moving and demanding environment
-Understand how to balance working with fine detail and speed/urgency
REQUIREMENTS:
-Grade in ADE, Management, Marketing or equivalent
-Mastering Excel (PivotTables, Charts, Lists) and Powerpoint (impacting/sales driven presentations)
-Used to work with the Nielsen data is relevant
-Trained on the relationships with retail customers is highly valued
-Proficiency in English for business is mandatory
-Availability to travel in Iberia.
