We currently assess around 80,000 customers in over 2000 pop up clinics across the UK and the Republic of Ireland. Bluecrest can assess for a range of different factors including heart disease, ECG, diabetes, cholesterol, vital organ functions as well as some cancers.

Please note: this is a Hybrid role, so you will be required to attend our head office in Worthing, West Sussex a minimum of 1 day per week.



This is a great opportunity for a talented and experienced Scrum Master to join our team and help establish an environment that develops high performing software delivery teams. As a key player in our Agile delivery process, you'll play a critical role in driving the adoption and success of Agile methodologies, as well as coaching our team and promoting continuous improvement of our current practices to enable delivery success.


Outside of the team, you will work alongside other roles to help the wider organisation in its understanding of Agile ways of working, fostering a culture of shared understanding and collaboration.

The role


  • Facilitation of Scrum events including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand Up’s, Sprint Reviews and retrospectives, ensuring they are positive and productive
  • Assist the Product Owner in the creation of the Product backlog and their effective interaction with the Development Team
  • Facilitate Sprint set up, execution and closure ensuring the Development Team are focused on achieving the Sprint Goal
  • Take ownership of removing impediments on behalf of the Development Team
  • Provide demonstrable outcomes from Sprint Retrospectives ensuring the Development Team are continually learning and making steps to increase productivity and quality
  • Provide on-going coaching for the Development team and the Product Owner, ensuring they are adequately trained on best practice
  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to improve the frameworks overall efficiency across Development and support effective dependency management across Teams
  • Use key Agile metrics and processes to guide the team in effective estimation, planning and delivery tracking
  • Report on delivery progress, escalating risks and impediments to the Delivery Manager & Business Stakeholders where necessary
  • Take a lead role in the organisation and execution of our Value Planning practice ensuring the Development Teams are well prepared to achieve an effective outcome
  • Carry out Release Management activities to ensure planned releases are coordinated and carried out to agreed standards
  • Work closely with IT Application Support ensuring Production Incidents are owned and effectively managed by Development team
  • Actively contribute to the development of Bluecrest’s Ways of Working providing insight and industry best practice from an Agile & Scrum perspective
  • Take the lead in your learning and development always seeking news ways to improve and develop in the role

Requirements

  • Experience of working with Agile Toolsets such as Jira and Confluence
  • Experience of Agile Engineering practices such CI/CD, Pair Programming and test automation
  • Experience working with business stakeholders at all levels
