Bloom Procurement Services is currently recruiting a QA/Test Engineer to join our growing tech team. The QA/Test Engineer is responsible for the automated testing infrastructure surrounding the production application software in Bloom’s cloud environments. They are expected to lead on implementing test systems, processes, and practice; and provide significant input into application security, scalability, and performance. Why us? Some accountabilities or the role include:

• Implementing and running automated testing as an integral part of the CI/CD deployment pipeline
• Advocate for QA best practice and lead initiatives to improve testing processes
• Initiating usage of a range of tools to support testing of all kinds
• Co-ordinating with product and development teams to ensure user stories and acceptance criteria are Supporting Application Engineers in troubleshooting issues
• Managing cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines
• Collaborating with other team members in making architectural decisions​ for performance and security considerations
• Identifying, analysing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.

QA/Test Engineers looking to be considered for the role, should be able to demonstrate the following skills clearly on their CV:

• Significant experience testing production web applications in AWS and/or GCP in a similar role
• Familiarity with serverless and containerised application architectures
• Experience of CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Agile software development processes
• Testing tools and services e.g. Cucumber, Gherkin, Jasmine, WebDriver, Jenkins, REST libraries
• Working within a DevOps environment
