Position

About the role…

We’re looking for a Data Product Owner with procurement knowledge to join our technology team, someone who understand the needs of their stakeholders and as a result can offer the best solutions, and someone who wants to be involved in having an input into Bloom’s wider product strategy.

The Data Product Owner will be accountable for the outputs of Bloom’s Data and Reporting team. Achieved by working across the business to determine needs, priorities and solutions by validating requirements, providing domain expertise and a focus on business value. They will co-ordinate delivery and ensure satisfaction with outcomes and processes.

Accountabilities include:

  • Translating business requirements into tangible deliverables
  • Providing domain expertise (public sector & procurement) both within the Data Team and the wider business
  • Providing insights and analysis into the commercial landscape
  • Suggesting new products and technologies to improve the performance
  • Developing a data roadmap to complement wider technology roadmap

Requirements

About you…

To be considered for the role of Data Product Owner, candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience as a Data Product Owner
  • Procurement knowledge
  • Senior stakeholder management
  • Agile/Scrum/Kanban principles
  • Backlog refinement and prioritisation
  • Some knowledge/experience of:
    • SQL
    • Excel
    • Business Intelligence applications
  • Right to Work in the UK
