IT Support Analyst

Gateshead, Hybrid working, up to £30k plus potential 10% bonus


  • Up to £30k + potential 10% bonus

We have a new opportunity for an IT Support Analyst (known internally as the Technology Services Analyst) because of growth within the team and business. It is a varied role that offers the person in the role training and support. The role also offers a foundation for progressing into other areas of the business such as the data or engineering team, depending upon longer term career aspirations.

The IT Support Analyst will be accountable for the following:


  • Providing IT support for eProcurement applications and task resolution - initially both Level 1 & Level 2, becoming just L2 when wider team grows
  • Application configuration and administration support
  • Liaising with external application partners to resolve integration and application issues
  • UAT testing of application partner releases
  • Delivering user training for eProcurement applications Maintain equipment asset register and IT equipment distribution as part of the starter and leaver processes

Requirements

If you’re interested in the role of IT Support Analyst, we are looking for you to demonstrate the following:


  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and support users
  • Strong attention to detail combined with good problem-solving skills
  • Quick learner with an enthusiasm to learn
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet specific deadlines
  • IT or Technology related NVQ Level 2, BTech or equivalent would be desirable
