Position

Overall purpose of the job: The main responsibilities are to supervise the CSRs and Drivers while managing the daily operations regarding ticket sales, customer service and dispatching of buses.


Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Support Operations team with various administrative work
  • Ticket sales management:
  • Leading the ticket agent team by example, providing them with support and sales techniques mentoring
  • Promote and sell Big Bus Tours products per company policies and local selling laws
  • Maximize company revenue through ticket sales and report any anomalies or frauds
  • Supervising agents’ allocation throughout the day
  • Excellent product knowledge and vouchers redemption techniques
  • Provide excellent customer service and manage customer complaints
  • Assist with the handling of Ventrata issues including communicate with staff/management if there are any issues

Brand ambassador:

  • Responsible for issued company property (i.e., Ventrata machine, tablets) and uphold inventory.
  • Ensuring all employees uniforms are to company standards

Dispatching:

  • Being able to read the schedule/pick, dispatch buses and communicate with teams accordingly including scheduled charters.
  • Manage communication and reports of bus issues such as accidents or breakdowns to management and engineering teams.
  • Supervise the implementation of route changes and detours
  • Advice personnel about traffic problems such as construction areas, accidents, congestion, weather conditions, and other hazards that may have bearing on quality and timeliness of tours

Reporting:

  • Complete a daily report of activity and send to management team
  • Miscellaneous:
  • To carry out other tasks as may be reasonably requested.

Requirements

Experience/Qualifications/Competencies

  • High School Diploma (Associates Degree preferred)
  • 1 year of dispatching experience
  • 1 year customer service experience
  • Must be able to interact with and speak to customers and potential customers
  • Legal to work in US
  • Multilingual preferred but not required


Work Hours & Conditions

  • Must be available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays
  • Must follow Covid related guidelines and BBT internal protocols at all times


Physical Requirements

  • Job requires employee to remain on his or her feet in an upright position for continuous periods of time without being able to leave the work area.
  • Job requires employee to work outdoors for the full shift
  • Job requires lifting, carrying or pushing/pulling up to 20 lbs
