Position

We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic Marketing Executive to join our team.

  • The Marketing Executive is responsible – alongside the Head of Marketing – for the rollout and delivery of the marketing plans for Dublin to deliver on revenue and customer targets
  • Responsible for managing the creation of city marketing collateral and its print and production from order to delivery and to managing stock levels across all marketing collateral
  • Support the building and management of the Big Bus brand; including response management on the Big Bus Dublin Trip Advisor, and Google Reviews
  • To contribute to the delivery of exceptional customer experiences through input to all areas of the customer proposition as required
  • Responsible for Marketing admin for Big Bus Dublin
  • Involved in preparation of tour brochures and print materials
  • Responsible for some Digital Media tasks and involvement in tour ops
  • City Marketing Delivery

Work with the Marketing Manager to deliver the Dublin city marketing plan for the year.

Sales’ Support

  • Provide sales’ support to the local trade and agent sales teams including the production of sales’ support materials, event management and representation at trade shows.

B2B and B2C Marketing Communications

  • Manage the production of all city marketing collateral in conjunction with the Head of Marketing to achieve commercial and brand objectives. Liaise with central team and agencies for design requirements, producing briefs and ensuring work is on brand. · Write copy for local marketing collateral which is on brand and effective and proof read all collateral in advance of print to ensure accuracy.

Brand Management

  • Manage responses across all review sites including TripAdvisor, and Google
  • Be a brand ambassador and be responsible for internal / external communications in relation to operational changes / diversions to ensure high levels of stakeholder satisfaction.

Supplier Relationships

  • Ownership of supplier relationships for collateral distribution, printing / production and delivery.
  • Build and maintain close working relationships alongside the Head of Marketing for global design agency and other agency relationships as required.
  • Managing local marketing agencies and suppliers and liaising with head office agencies
  • alongside the Head of Marketing.
  • Budgetary Responsibility Responsible for raising POs / tracking spend accurately to ensure monthly / annual reporting can be carried out.

 

 

Requirements

Knowledge

  • B2C marketing experience is essential, in, for example, FMCG/Financial Services/Online
  • Retailing/Travel.
  • Excellent all-around marketing experience is essential (minimum 2-3 years), with
  • understanding of the travel industry as desirable.
  • Solid commercial business understanding.

Skills

  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to express a message clearly and persuasively
  • Excellent communication and team working skills.
  • Fluent in English

  • Experience/Qualifications

Education

  • University degree preferred but not required.
  • At least 2-3 years marketing experience.
