Big Bus Tours Los Angeles is looking to hire bus drivers for our BIG double decker busses. A double decker driver should make the safety of our customers their number one priority while providing transportation for our tours. To be successful in this position you should be friendly and enjoy working with the public. Be safety oriented and never put anyone’s safety in jeopardy. Have a willingness to learn and be open to interacting with people from all around the world. If you have bus driving experience and are ready to launch or continue a career in tourism, then this is the job for you.

Key Areas of Accountability and Responsibility

• Report on time as scheduled in required uniform
• Perform a Pre-trip and Post-trip inspection of your assigned bus
• Ensure your bus is clean and ready for passengers
• Follow the given route as scheduled under the direction of the Operations team.
• Maintain the safety of the bus and passengers at all times during the tour
• Follow all state and Federal traffic and DOT laws rules/regulations
• Report any incidents or accidents immediately per company policy
• Maintain a professional driving style, presentation and demeanor whenever in front of customers or in uniform
• Be an ambassador of Big Bus Tours and Smile

Experience / Qualifications required

• Be at least 21 years of age
• CDL with air brakes and unlimited passenger endorsement
• At least two years of experience
• DOT medical certification and drug testing
• Knowledge of the Hollywood Area is preferred.
• Must pass road test with satisfactory performance
• Speak and read English well enough to converse with the public, understand highway traffic signals, respond to official questions, and be able to make legible entries on reports and records.
