Background

Los Angeles is one of the most fabulous and eclectic cities in the world, and we believe that Big Bus can add a great new experience for visitors by utilising our expertise of providing tourists with a never before available experience and the perfect introduction to this world-famous city, helping them to discover and explore the wealth of things to do and places to see.

By expanding into Los Angeles, we are making this our 22nd city that we operate from. This is an exciting opportunity for you to create something very special as you will be part of the opening team and be involved in setting up the operation and infrastructure of the business.

Overall Purpose

To reconcile our daily sales transactions from Revenue Bags with the ECR (Electronic Cash Register) system to ensure the accuracy of our accounting records.

Key Areas of Accountability and Responsibility

  • Daily reconciliation of Revenue Bags from sales agents and drivers with the ECR system.
  1. Ensure all ECR devices are syncing properly with the ECR system.
  2. Pull reports from the ECR system and review all transactions for accuracy.
  3. Reconcile reports with vouchers/tickets from Revenue Bags.
  4. Contact appropriate managers and ensure follow-up action when necessary.
  5. Send daily summary reports to managers at the end of each day.
  • Maintain appropriate files, reports, documentation and data.
  • Adhere to corporate standards and general reconciliation procedures. 
  • Perform other various duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Requirements

Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel. 

Experience/Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Cash handling experience a plus.

Working Hours and Conditions

Must be flexible to work on weekends as we operate 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
