It is an exciting time for our business, and we are seeking a Senior Marketing and Communications professional to join us on the journey. Reporting to the CEO of the UK, you will partner with local leadership to steer, develop, deliver and oversee all internal and external communication activities and campaigns to promote and elevate the brand in the UK. It is important you are looking to take ownership of an internal and external facing function and are excited by the prospect of growing a business.

We are the UK arm of Be | Shaping the Future, a leading pan-European financial services management consultancy, operating in 13 countries across Europe. The company was acquired by Engineering Group in 2022 (backed by Bain Capital ) enabling us to expand our reach and work with a team of over 14,000 consulting and technology experts across the world.

We specialise in consulting in the areas of cards and payments, retail and commercial banking, finance, risk and regulation, ESG and sustainability and capital markets consulting. This position will see you:-

  • Support the continued evolution of the Be UK brand, ensuring key messages are consistent across all channels
  • Collaborate with the leadership team on our go-to-market approach to nurture demand and build awareness of Be UK’s consulting offering across financial services (cards and payments, retail and commercial banking, finance, risk and regulation, ESG and sustainability and capital markets)
  • Maintain and enhance brand assets, including videos, social media channels and our website
  • Be an advisor to the leadership team on their communications to the business, including drafting communications, key messages, channels, tone of voice and best practice
  • Collaborate with HR and recruitment to devise an internal communication plan and strategy, and lead initiatives to drive employer brand awareness, employee engagement, and champion brand advocacy
  • Plan quarterly employee off-sites, brainstorming topics with HR for learning and development and ensuring presentations and activities tie in with the wider Be UK agenda
  • Lead internal committees (including social, CSR and wellbeing) ensuring KPIs are met against the internal communication plan and strategy
  • Work with our CSR charity partner, West London Zone, to continue to build and maintain the relationship, and to ensure we are providing a high level of support (including coordinating pro-bono consultancy projects, organising ad-hoc student career workshops and coordinating donation initiatives)
  • Set department and channel objectives and KPIs
  • Set the PR and media agenda and strategy (including building relationships with key industry bodies and publications), defining and placing key messages to increase organic coverage, raising brand awareness and driving the profiles of the UK leadership team
  • Work with each sector team to develop a plan for blogs and drive the pipeline forward, including working with external industry bodies and publications to get these published
  • Support bench projects/individual assignments when there are overlaps with marketing/communications

Requirements

It is likely that you will have the following background: -

  • In-house marketing, communications and events experience
  • Experience in developing and managing brand assets, including social media and website content
  • Experience of generating marketing and communications initiatives and campaigns and seeing them through to execution
  • Experience of working with a professional services business would be preferred (ideally management consultancy)
