Company Description

BCHA are a diverse and growing specialist housing, learning and support provider based in the South West. We provide support to our customers who may be facing a range of issues such as homelessness, domestic abuse, mental health and substance misuse.

We have a vacancy for a Night Worker to join the professional team at Gabriel House, our homelessness accommodation in central Bournemouth, with 40 beds for male and females. We provide a 24/7 service for our customers, enabling them to find their way forward to leading independent, fulfilled lives.

Position

We need a Night Worker to provide different levels of practical support to customers who are homeless and need our help. As a Night Worker you will carry out various tasks during your shift ranging from time spent listening to people who need to talk, doing regular welfare checks and carrying out regular inspections to ensure the health, safety and security of the building. You will be working alongside a colleague on a night shift, there is no lone working.
