Position

This role is working in the Recovery House.

Recovery Houses are to provide an alternative to acute hospital admission in both the East and West of the county. This is achieved by providing appropriate, timely support within the Recovery Houses environment, where guests can stay for up to 2 weeks, pro-actively preventing a crisis escalating.

Mental Health Recovery Workers will develop customer led support using person centred and psychologically informed approaches by providing advice, support and information for those in or approaching mental health crisis.

7 day rotating shift pattern, and requires sleep ins that are paid at a fixed rate.

Externally, you will build strong working relationships with statutory and third sector agencies to help support and develop the service thereby empowering customers towards independence and positive wellbeing. Specifically, these may include; Home Treatment Team, Local Authority Housing Teams; Police, IDVA, Housing Benefit staff; DWP staff; Community Mental Health Teams; Social Services; Offender Management services in a multi-agency approach including third sector agencies and others.
