Position

The successful applicant will be our ambassador for BCHA Learn, develop and improve processes within the referral, on boarding and data collection processes throughout the department across multi programme delivery. You will engage with customers for BCHA Learn and maintain and develop new partnerships with referral agencies In this role you will professionally represent the BCHA Learn function to the general public, and ensure the smooth operation of the admissions and engagement function.


“This role will give the opportunity to work alongside young people aged 15-24 and adults who are unemployed, offering one to one coaching around confidence, communication and employability skills. You will have the opportunity to deliver engaging group sessions with customers to encourage employability development”. Says Val Jefferies, Project Leader, BCHA Learn.

Requirements

Able to demonstrate that you put the customer at the heart of all you do

The ability to remain focused and deliver job responsibilities professionally in a busy and noisy office and reception environment

The ability and confidence in speaking with BCHA team, referral partners, employers and participants in person and on the phone

Experience and competence in communicating effectively with vulnerable adults and young people

Experience of providing co-ordination and admissions support in the post-16

learning environment

Confident in liaising with referral partners and public bodies as part of a robust risk assessment process
