BCHA are working with Dorset Healthcare, The Lantern and Help and Care, to deliver wellbeing hubs, across Dorset. This is part of the universal offer of wellbeing support, an element of the mental health transformation programme for adults. The hubs will support people to take the steps that matter to them, by connecting them to what they might need, at the right time and in the right place, ultimately empowering people to make their own choices and moving towards full citizenship within their communities. Citizenship in this context means having a voice, a sense of belonging, purpose, identity and equal access to the rights and opportunities that should be available to all.


Position

We are seeking a dedicated Data and Digital Services Technical Lead to ensure the smooth and effective running of IT Services, including data provisioning and reporting, for all Access and Wellbeing Partnership staff. This role is crucial in acting as the primary point of contact between staff and the BCHA Digital Services Function, addressing all IT requirements with a focus on continuous support and reassurance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main liaison for all IT needs between the Access and Wellbeing Partnership staff and the BCHA Digital Services Function.
  • Provide consistent understanding and reassurance to staff regarding IT services, applications, systems, and equipment to enhance their focus and effectiveness.
  • Manage the transition of data and reporting as per organizational contracts with BCHA’s partners.
  • Collaborate with IT Training, IT Infrastructure, and IT Suppliers to ensure consistent and reliable IT support in line with BCHA standards and policies.
  • Maintain an IT presence at Access and Wellbeing Partnership sites as required.
  • Provide direct 1st and 2nd line support and IT training to colleagues.

Requirements

Demonstrable ability to find solutions to technical IT issues, incidents and requests. Capable of building relationships with a wide and varied range of stakeholders. Evidence of successful experience working in a 1st and 2nd line IT Support role. Experience of driving successful outcomes through supply chain engagement.
