ASL Aviation Holdings DAC owns and operates airlines in Ireland, Belgium, Hungary, France, South Africa and Asia and is a key provider of air cargo transport services to the integrator and postal markets, air passenger transport services, aircraft leasing and other aviation related services.

As part of a wider programme of systems improvement and standardisation, ASL Aviation Holdings has selected, and is in the process of implementing, the Swiss-AS AMOS software system for Engineering, Maintenance and Logistics management – this is a large-scale implementation project across several ASL entities.

As part of this implementation project, ASL Aviation Holdings is establishing an AMOS Competence Centre (ACC), which will have a key role in the implementation of the system, support the on-going usage of AMOS within the various ASL entities and developing its use as a tool for improvement throughout the organisation.

Within the ACC, there is an immediate vacancy for an AMOS Competence Centre Specialist. This is a challenging and dynamic role where the successful candidate will be responsible for the initial establishment and the on-going operation of the ACC.

Position

Key functions of the role include:

  • Development of effective business processes and procedures to ensure the ACC can support the use of AMOS at Go-Live and in day to day operations.
  • Liaise with ASL IT Services and Swiss-AS on system infrastructure administration.
  • Play an active role in the delivery of AMOS user training.

Additional key areas of responsibility include:

  • 1st Level Support to end-users.
  • Software release / upgrade management.
  • Change Management.
  • System development and enhancement.
  • Interface support.
  • Database management in conjunction with ASL IT and Swiss-AS.
  • On-going liaison with Swiss-AS as required.
  • Development of Training material

Requirements

The successful candidate will be expected to have:

  • 5 or more years’ experience with AMOS, ideally in a Key User or AMOS Administration role.
  • An aviation engineering background.
  • Excellent training and communications skills.
  • An ability to provide 1st level support to system end-users pre/post system Go-Live.
  • An interest and willingness to participate in the further development of the AMOS system throughout ASL.
  • Strong understanding of the management of aircraft maintenance.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Shall maintain competence on the basis of continued education and training in their area of responsibility. The company will facilitate this process.
  • Must be eligible to live and work in the EU.

Working hours: 09.00 – 17.30, Monday - Friday
