Position

To provide a range of on-site support to the Senior Contracts Manager to help facilitate the successful and timely completion of installation contracts.

Main Responsibilities and Activities

  • Providing regular feedback (written and verbal) to Regional Contract Manager regarding all projects under his control.
  • Carrying out of Quality checks of all installation works undertaken.
  • Providing technical assistance and training to other engineers or sub-contractors.
  • To continually monitor and assess the quality of sub contractors to successfully commission installations process
  • Working closely with customers to ensure a professional and efficient service is provided at all times.
  • Provide technical assistance to resolve any issues during the configuration and commissioning phases
  • Ensure training of the system is delivered to both residents and staff onsite
  • Liaise with suppliers on technical issues during the installation process providing clear written communication of any issues
  • Carry out site surveys prior to proposals being generated

  • Take reasonable care of the health and safety of themselves and of others who may be affected by what they do or do not do
  • Ensure our employees or contractors working on our behalf adhere to the following:
  • Ensure that tools and materials are kept to a minimum number and are safely stored away to avoid tripping hazards etc.
  • Ensure trailing cables etc are kept to an absolute minimum
  • If there is a particular safety problem with the work being carried out in the occupied property then work should stop immediately and be reported
  • Any accident however minor should be reported back immediately

Requirements

Requirements

  • Project Management experience would be desireable but not essential
  • Strong Customer Service focus
  • Ability to manage projects effectively adhering to timescales, quality, budget.
  • An education to either ‘O’ Level/GCSE Grade A-C, 2/3 level is essential.
  • Logical thinker who is able to multi-task and prioritise their own work load.
  • An ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines is essential, as is, a “can do” attitude, and a positive and flexible approach.
  • Excellent time management and planning
  • Good communicator and influencer
  • Ability to prioritise / multi task / problem solve
  • Ability to work as part of a team and individual
  • Reliable with a flexible approach
  • Attention to detail

Salary: £30,000.00 per annum

Contract Term: Permanent

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

Location: Field Based - Ideally located in Leeds, York, Doncaster
