Life in our Support Services Team Appello ...

Undertake pre-arranged outbound calls to vulnerable adults to carry out welfare checks and provide medication reminders.

Position

Location: Office based for the training and then there will be the opportunity to work remotely from home.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Escalating any concern for an individual’s welfare to ensure help and support is provided.
  • Acting swiftly to contact support in the form of carers, next of kin or ambulances etc as required.
  • Build rapport with service users to create trust and meaningful relationships to provide excellent customer service.
  • Support the administrative function that handles all customer interactions into the monitoring service, including staff, managers, residents and next of kin contacts.
  • Deliver first class customer service by understanding the enquiry and responding efficiently in a courteous manner.
  • Ensure that precise information is taken and accurately input within the telecare platform in line with the company's quality procedures.

35 hours per week on a rolling 6 week pattern (please see attached document)


Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Face to face or telephone experience in a customer service role is essential
  • Call centre experience desirable
  • Previous administration experience is essential to include email responses, databases and spreadsheet utilisation
  • Attention to detail
  • Computer literate with keyboard skills
  • Ability to communicate with a variety of customer over the telephone
  • Team player
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask actions
