Position

The Business Central Developer is responsible for the ongoing development / support of data components and related connectivity. Business support of Businees Central based environments, ensuring effective capabilities and relevance.


Main Responsibilities and Activities

  • Technical design and delivery of enhancements to Appello’s data related product offering and hosted services.
  • "Hands on" development.
  • Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle of the product, including requirements gathering, functional and technical designs, as well as programming and testing.
  • Develop procedures and scripts for data migration
  • Develop, implement and optimise data functionality and resilience
  • Develop, implement and maintain an Azure Busines Central database
  • Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements

Requirements

EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • 5 years of experience as a Business Central Developer and/or similar technology.
  • Strong understanding of Data API’s and Azure services

Desirable

  • Cloud technologies
  • Strong understanding of stock management and Financial data systems

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ideally a degree in a related computer or networking discipline or suitable industry experience.
  • Ability to design and build mission critical solutions, which are highly resilient, fault tolerant and scalable.
  • Deliver software in accordance with a PA DSS (audited software development process).

SKILLS & SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE

Esssential

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (SaaS is a plus)
  • Ability to build and maintain complex Microsoft Flows.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of writing code and good understanding of business logic(5 years+)
  • Experience developing solutions in Dynamics D365BC
  • Experience developing REST API integrations
  • Knowledge of data migration

Desirable

  • Object Oriented Analysis and Design
  • Experience developing and maintaining applications
  • Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructures
  • Azure portal management
  • Use of SQL in an Azure cloud
  • Skilled at optimising large complicated SQL statements
  • Familiarity of Azure IoT and AI
  • .NET Programming and Web APIs

What we will offer you:

Salary: Day rate Dependant on Experience.

Contract Term: 6 months

Contract Type Contractor /Consultant

IR35 : This contract would be deemed outside of IR35
