The role: we offer our customers a full range of services, include web hosting, dedicated and virtual servers, email services and domain names. With highly automated systems, it’s important that the human touch is the best in the business, and this is where you come in. It will be your job to help our customers via ticket, livechat or telephone. This role will introduce you to every area of our business, and is the perfect stepping stone into the industry.

We are a fast growing tech company, and that means plenty of opportunity to grow and progress. We provide a structured career path into 2nd and 3rd line support, with further progression to development or sysadmin. Every step of the way, you will develop your technical skills in both Enterprise Linux and Windows Server environments, with the opportunity to specialise as you go.

We provide formal training to ensure you’re equipped to do the job, as well as opportunities for continuous development through classroom sessions and shadowing experienced staff in a relaxed and friendly environment.  Yes, we work hard, and we play hard too. With a games room and table tennis, there are plenty of opportunities to have fun!

Our ideal candidate: a smart and tenacious problem solver with a keen eye for detail and a hunger to learn. We are a business built on shared knowledge and experience, so your teamwork and communication skills will be paramount.

Experience is great, but what you will care about most is the satisfaction, learning and growth that comes from putting your heart into something, even if you don’t succeed first time every time.

If you are excited by online gaming, or PC building and repair, or coding/development, or you simply have just a strong will to learn, HEG could well be the place for you.

Please note: this role is shift based, and includes some weekends and bank holidays. The earliest shift starts at 8AM, and the latest finishes at midnight. You may be asked to cover the occasional shift for our overnight team.

Benefits:

  • City Centre location
  • 25 Days holiday + Bank holidays (33 days total)
  • Bupa healthcare
  • Casual dress code
  • Private pension with employer matched contributions
  • Cycle to work scheme

  • A dedicated, continuous training program
  • Great opportunity for advancement within the company.
