Position

Salary: circa £28,800 - £30,080 + Benefits

Role duration: We are recruiting for 2 roles on a 12 month fixed term contract. All roles will be full time.

The Grants Officer will be responsible for the administration of the application process, peer review and selection panels for a sub-set of the Academy’s grant schemes. As a member of the Academy’s grants team, the post-holder will also provide administrative assistance to a portfolio of other activities to support clinicians and scientists already involved in research.

Location

Staff are working remotely with encouragement to be in the office one day per week. We remain responsive to government advice.

We have a staff group looking at hybrid working models for the future. There is no expectation that staff will return to the office 5 days a week. Location of work will be set based on the needs of the individual and their role, however when in the office the location is 41 Portland Place, London W1B 1QH.

Work from home equipment contributions are available following workspace assessments.

Annual Leave

26 days per annum; plus Christmas closure, and bank holidays (pro rata for part time staff)

The Academy contributes 7.5% of gross salary to a Legal & General scheme, with an employee contribution of 3%
